Fine artist Julia Ramsay specialises in creating captivating oil paintings of expressive florals and landscapes. Julia's artistic journey is a tale of respect and dedication. During her Fine Art degree, Julia spent some time at the Ecole Des Beaux Artes in Paris and this is really where  her true fascination of the mastery of Oil painting really sparked. She then went on to work At Sotheby's and reputable galleries in Mayfair. This enhanced her enthusiasm for the history of Art in particular the impact of Impressionism.

 

Julia's passion for Art lead her to wanting to instill this on into the next generation and embarked on a Education degree and taught Art at secondary school for 10 years. Bringing up her two young children Julia now works from her garden studio producing Art that continues to challenge and evolve. She is pulled in by landscapes, everyday and the dramatic. Julia imparts her love of colour and oils to represent paintings that evoke emotion and ethereal quality.
